Abstract
Introduction: Introduction: The study aimed to analyze sport accidents reports from judicial court experts.
Methods: The research followed a descriptive and analytical approach using content analysis methods (quantitative and qualitative). Official documents (n = 44) concerning judicial expert reports were obtained through collaboration with the Association of Judicial Experts and courts. Data analysis involved various coding techniques like finder, sub, and simultaneous coding. To ensure the analysis's validity, strategies such as document authenticity, ethical considerations, precise research description, and dual coding were employed.
Results: The research revealed that the primary reasons for accidents in 10 subcategories are: 1- factors linked to trainers' incapacity and negligence, 2- issues stemming from managers' poor planning and supervision, 3- failure to adhere to instructions and regulations by managers and trainers, 4- lack of parental supervision in children's sports activities, 5- inadequate safety measures in sports facilities, 6- poor maintenance of sports equipment, 7- lack of cleanliness in sports venues, 8- preexisting health conditions in athletes, 9- athlete negligence, and 10- athletes' unfamiliarity with the rules.
Conclusion: Based on these findings, recommendations have been put forth to relevant bodies and entities (such as the Ministry of Education, Judiciary, and Sports and Youth organizations). These suggestions encompass training programs for teachers, coaches, parents, and students. Furthermore, oversight mechanisms by governing bodies (like regulatory agencies) should be enhanced. Offering liability insurance for coaches, teachers, and team managers is also advised as part of the research recommendations.
