Abstract
Introduction: The purpose of this research was to model the development of organizational capacity in sports organizations.
Methods: The current research method is based on a qualitative approach to the foundational data method (Strauss and Corbin's systematic model), which was conducted in the field in terms of the fundamental purpose and in terms of data collection. The statistical population of this research includes sports management experts (professors and researchers in the field of sports management) who were selected by purposeful sampling (20 people). The qualitative approach of grounded theory was used for data analysis for open, central and selective coding, and open coding was done by analyzing the interviews. The validity and reliability of the research tool was also confirmed.
Results: The results showed that in order to develop the organizational capacity in sports organizations, it is necessary to take into account the causal conditions (communication, human resources and management) and apply the identified strategies (planning, training, evaluation and motivation), according to Background conditions (organizational structure, laws and regulations, infrastructure and organizational culture) as well as intervening conditions (financial and political) tried to achieve positive development consequences (financial consequences, human consequences and structural consequences).
Conclusion: Therefore, it is suggested to provide employees with tools for evaluation, planning, increasing employee participation, training them and making gradual changes.
