Abstract

The qualitative method used in the present study was phenomenological based on the three-pronged model. Participants in the present study included individuals in the sports organization environment; Managers have understood the phenomenon of cognitive . The data collection tool in the present study was a semi-structured interview. In order to analyze the qualitative data, thematic analysis was used. . As the results of the present study show, in the structural branch, the main concepts including rules and regulations, decision-making aspects, economic systems and management systems were identified. In a way that 21 consequences due to cognitive errors of managers in sports organizations were identified in the structural branch. The results of the present study show that in the content branch, the main concepts including motivational aspects, behavioral aspects, psychological aspects and content weakness were identified. In a way that 16 consequences due to cognitive errors of managers in sports organizations were identified in the content branch. The results of the present study show that the main concepts including environmental aspects, cultural aspects and value aspects were identified in the field. In a way that 12 consequences due to cognitive errors of managers in sports organizations were identified in the field.
