Abstract
The present study was conducted with the aim of meta-analysis of four decades of research on barriers and challenges for the promotion of women in the positions of sports management in the country. The research method was a combination of pluralism in the data. The statistical population includes all studies conducted on the challenges of women's management in the four decades after the Islamic Revolution of 1978 in the field of sports. Theme analysis method was used to extract the elements and group them. The results showed that women have a long way to go to achieve the desired share and for 4 decades the gender perspective has always been a barrier to women's management, but the challenge that has become very prominent in recent decades regarding women's management is the lack of culture.
