The aim of this paper was to explain strange captivation of physical education professors and coaches to their work in the form of workaholism. Statistical population of this research included professors of physical education faculties and Tehran sport coaches and a sample was selected randomly. A questionnaire was used to collect the data. The research methodology was survey based on structural equation modeling. Research findings showed a significant relationship between professors and coaches’ workaholism and organizational citizenship behavior. Also, there was a positive and significant relationship between organizational citizenship behavior and dimensions of workaholism (work involvement, feeling of being driven to work, work enjoyment).
