Abstract
The purpose of this research was to survey the relative ratio of mental health on organizational health in Esfahan physical education offices. The research method was descriptive. The sample of study consisted of 172 subjects from Esfahan physical education offices who were randomly selected. Two questionnaires were used to collect the data: Kamau's Organizational Health questionnaire (1992) and a researcher-made mental health questionnaire. After a pilot study, their reliabilities were determined as 0.81 and 0.84 respectively. The data were analyzed by regression coefficient and results of the research showed that the personal improvement parameter from mental health affected 5 parameters of organizational health (communication abilities, integration, morale, innovation and adjustment); the control of anxiety parameter from mental health affected 5 parameters (communication abilities, resource support, adjustment, morale, and problem solving abilities); the sense of ability and wellness sign parameter from mental health affected 7 parameters (goal concentration, communication abilities , integration, morale, innovation, adjustment and problem solving); the ability of communication parameter from mental health affected 5 parameters (communication abilities, integration, morale, innovation and adjustment); and the ability of contrast with life pressures and problems parameter from mental health affected 7 parameters (goal concentration, communication abilities, integration, morale, independence, adjustment and problem solving abilities) of organizational health (P<0.05).
