The aim of this study was to evaluate chaordic management and normative evaluation of chaordic management measuring tool based on chaos theory in Iran Physical Education Organization. This study was carried out in two phases: in the first phase, the study background and chaos theory were examined and the concept of chaordic management was determined using qualitative content analysis and through interviewing 10 management and sport management experts. The findings of the first phase introduced the model of self-productive chaordic management. Based on the designed model and chaos theory, the principle components and dimensions of this concept were considered as butterfly effect, dynamic adaptation, strange attractors and self-similarity. In the second phase, based on the model of self-productive chaos management, the items of the chaos management scale were extracted. To examine the construct validity or the content validity of the scale, exploratory factor analysis was used which identified four factors as the components of chaos management as follows: organizational structure, managers' skills, conditions of the organization and employees. In order to evaluate the reliability of the scale, Cronbach’s alpha was used (0.92) which showed the suitable internal consistency of the scale. The results indicated the direct relationship of managers' education level and management career with chaos management. Then, chaos management in the Physical Education Organization was examined by this scale and the findings showed that the chaos management was significantly at an average level in the organization. As there was no significant relationship between the rate and importance of each chaos management dimension, it can be inferred that managers of the Physical Education Organization did not benefit from the positive advantages of chaos management skill in the decisions, quality improvement, etc. in the current condition.

The aim of this research was to determine those factors affecting sport tourism service quality. The research method was descriptive – correlation which was conducted as a field research. The statistical sample consisted of 265 tourists who were randomly selected from those spectators attending Tehran Azadi stadium to watch a football game between Esteghlal and Persepolis teams in March 2011. Shonk’s questionnaire was used to collect the data. The validity and reliability were approved (<em>α</em>=0.892). The SPSS 16 software was used for descriptive statistics and exploratory factor analysis. Also, confirmatory factor analysis and structural equation modeling (SEM) were performed by LISREL software. The results showed that although “access quality”, “sport complex quality” and “contest quality” had significant effects on sport tourism service quality, the effect of contest quality was more and these variables should receive special attention to improve sport tourism.

The aim of this study was to examine the relationship between knowledge management subsystems in the learning organization and human resource productivity in selected sport federations. The present study was descriptive-correlation and of application nature. The statistical population included staff of 10 selected sport federations and 165 members were selected as the sample of this study. The data were collected by demographic questionnaire, knowledge management questionnaire and human resource productivity questionnaire. Descriptive statistics were used to classify the data and to test the hypotheses, Kolmogorov-Smirnov test was used to examine the normal distribution of the data and Pearson correlation and multivariate regression tests were used to determine the relationship and to predict among the variables and Z Fisher test was used to compare the correlation coefficient of the independent variables. The results of correlation test showed a positive and significant relationship between all KM components and total KM (<em>r</em>=0.689) and human resource productivity in the selected sport federations (P˂0.01). Finally, the results of step by step regression analysis showed that among KM components, knowledge creation was able to significantly predict human resource productivity and there was no difference in the relationship between knowledge management subsystems and human resource productivity in team and individual sport federations.

The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of organizational socialization and its components on career aspirations in employees of Physical Education General Department of Fars province. The statistical population included all employees of Physical Education General Department of Fars province (<em>N</em>=81). Morgan table was used to determine the statistical sample (<em>n</em>= 66). 72 questionnaires were distributed among the employees and 70 questionnaires could be used. To collect data, a personal characteristics questionnaire as well as two standard questionnaires including Taormina's organizational socialization questionnaire (1994) and career aspirations questionnaire of Bigliardi <em>et al</em>. (2005) were used. In several national and international studies, the validity of the questionnaires was approved. In a pilot study on 30 employees of Physical Education General Department of Fars province, the reliability of organizational socialization questionnaire and career aspirations questionnaire was determined by Cronbach's alpha coefficient as 0.93 and 0.82 respectively. In order to evaluate and compare the descriptive data, descriptive statistics were used and for inferential analysis of data, Kolmogorov-Smirnov test, Durbin-Watson test, structural equation and factor loading in SPSS and PLS (partial least square) software at P≤0.05. Findings showed that organizational socialization variable had a positive and significant effect on the career aspirations variable (0.426). Also, the effect of education, amity, counterparts' support and the future prospects on career aspirations was 0.326, 0.339, 0.223 and 0.33 respectively. Findings of this study showed that organizational socialization variable had a drastic effect on employees' career aspirations and could be considered as a predictor for career aspirations.

This study aimed at determining the relative contribution of team identificationby managerial factors among those clubs attending football premier league of Iran. This study was a descriptive, applied survey. The statistical population consisted of the fans of Iran football premier league. The sample was estimated by the statistical formula (n=865). In order to collect the data, two questionnaires: the Club Managerial Factors Questionnaire by Chen (2007) and the Team IdentificationQuestionnaire made by Wann and Branscome (1993); their reliability and validity were tested for this study (Cronbach’s alpha for Club Managerial Factors Questionnaire α=0.86 and for Team Identification Questionnaire α=0.78). To analyze the data, SPSS15 was used and the results were obtained by Pearson correlation test, liner regression analysis and Multivariate regression analysis. The results showed a positive and significant relationship between five club managerial factors and team identification(P=0.01). Among these factors, attractiveness had the strongest relationship with team identification. Also, the results of multivariate regression analysis showed that three factors of attractiveness, media and affiliation could be reliable predictors of team identification. These factors explained more than 40% of the variations of the dependent variable. As a result, the researchers suggested that these dimensions were considered as factors for success and for maintaining fans with high team identification. In other words, these factors are the essential keys to the identification of the best strategies for the clubs and have many advantages such as an increase in income, capital attraction, more ticket sales, etc.

The aim of this study was to investigate fans' involvement levels in the selected teams of the football premier league of Iran based on psychological continuum model. Research method was descriptive survey and application by its aim. For this purpose, 394 fans of four popular teams of football premier league (Esteghlal, Persepolis, Tractor and Sepahan) were selected as the sample. Funk's questionnaire (2008) was used to gather data. The reliability of the questionnaire was calculated and obtained 0.92 by Cronbach's alpha coefficient. Descriptive statistics and confirmatory factor analysis were used for data analysis. The results of confirmatory factor analysis showed that multidimensional model of participation could be used to classify the fans in various theoretical stages. In fact, the concept of involvement offered an appropriate platform to study the psychological relationships of fans with the teams. Based on the psychological continuum model, the results indicated that in the selected teams of football premier league, fans' involvement levels were more related to the attachment level and the lowest involvement levels were related to the loyalty level. Managers can improve the fane to the loyalty level and maintain them at this level through providing the opportunity for fans to take pictures with players, to establish meetings for fans' clubs and to donate the fan cards.

The aim of this study was to identify and describe the patterns and to determine the identity of sport management science and researches with an emphasis on science-research papers in Iran which was conducted by citation analysis and content analysis based on a full-scale view from all dimensions on positivism, critical and realism paradigms. Research method was descriptive-analytic and SPSS & EXCEL software was used. Research sample consisted of 153 papers from four sport science-research journals. First, this paper determined the most share of science-research papers in sport management among other disciplines. Then, this paper studied the theories implemented in papers as one of those determinant criteria for trans-disciplinary science and finally surveyed co-citation, citation and the type of citations. The results showed that the study process of this science in sport management was different with regard to the intervention of other fields of study. In other words, the majority of citation was pertained to management; in fact, the co-citation of sport management was 60% and 40% was pertained to other fields. The lowest citation of management was pertained to history (0.07%), theology (0.05%) and linguistics (0.05%) while it did not have any citations to art and agriculture. Another result determined the identity of sport management as an interdisciplinary science and it seems that sport management has the necessary potential for entering trans-disciplinary science, but conducted researches on sport management are in trans-disciplinary domain. As a result, the growing movement of sport management to trans-disciplinary science and research based on epistemology and its complexity levels can create a coherent framework for this science.
