The tool used in this research was a researcher-designed questionnaire on event safety and security, employing a five-point Likert scale. The face and content validity of the questionnaire were confirmed by experts in sports management. The reliability of the questionnaire was assessed and validated using Cronbach&#039;s alpha and composite reliability. The data obtained from 62 completed questionnaires were analyzed using SPSS version 27 and Smart PLS version 3 to identify the factors influencing the safety and security of this sporting event.<br /> Results: The results showed that five factors were effective in ensuring the safety and security of the championships: crowd management, environmental and equipment safety, technology, technical management, and security measures. Among these, technology had the greatest impact, with a correlation coefficient of 0.474.<br /> Conclusion: The findings highlight the need for a comprehensive and multifaceted approach to event safety and security. Paying attention to these factors will not only help ensure the successful hosting of competitions but also pave the way for future hosting opportunities and elevate the status of this ancient sport on the international stage. مقدمه: پژوهش حاضر از نوع توصیفی-تحلیلی بوده و با هدف بررسی وضعیت ایمنی و امنیت مسابقات جهانی کشتی پهلوانی ۲۰۲۴ انجام شده است. <br /> روش پژوهش: جامعه آماری پژوهش را کلیه کشتی‌گیران و کادر فنی شرکت‌کننده در مسابقات جهانی کشتی پهلوانی 1402 به میزبانی شهر تبریز تشکیل می‌داد که به شیوه در دسترس انتخاب شدند. ابزار مورد استفاده در پژوهش، پرسشنامه محقق ساخته ایمنی و امنیت رویداد در مقیاس پنج ارزشی لیکرت بود، روایی صوری و محتوایی آن توسط متخصصین مدیریت ورزشی تأیید شد. پایایی پرسشنامه نیز با استفاده از آزمون آلفای کرونباخ و پایایی ترکیبی بررسی و تأیید شد. داده‌های حاصل از 62 پرسشنامه تکمیل‌شده با استفاده از نرم‌افزارهای اس پی اس اس نسخه 27 و اسمارت پی‌ال اس نسخه3 مورد تجزیه و تحلیل قرار گرفتند تا عوامل مؤثر بر ایمنی و امنیت این رویداد ورزشی شناسایی شوند.<br /> یافته‌ها: یافته‌ها نشان داد پنج عامل مدیریت جمعیت، ایمنی محیط و تجهیزات، فناوری، مدیریت فنی مسابقات و اقدامات امنیتی بر تأمین ایمنی و امنیت این مسابقات مؤثر بوده‌اند. از بین عوامل شناسایی شده، فناوری با ضریب هم‌بستگی 474/0 بیشترین تأثیر را در برقراری ایمنی و امنیت این مسابقات داشت. <br /> نتیجه گیری: با توجه به یافته‌ها، پژوهش بر لزوم اتخاذ رویکردی جامع و چندوجهی برای تأمین ایمنی و امنیت در رویدادهای ورزشی تأکید می‌کند. توجه به این عوامل نه تنها به برگزاری موفق مسابقات کمک می‌کند، بلکه زمینه را برای میزبانی‌های آتی و ارتقاء جایگاه ورزش باستانی کشتی پهلوانی در سطح بین‌المللی فراهم می‌سازد.
