But it should be mentioned that achieving competition output (medals acquired) is possible only through utilization of input and appropriate processes. So, lower input should be considered along with higher outputs to evaluate more precisely and regularly. In this study, one of non-parametric techniques, namely data envelopment analysis (DEA) method, was used to design a model to evaluate the performance of participating countries in Olympic Games and to eliminate this problem. The model considered two inputs (GDP per capita and population) and three outputs (number of gold, silver and bronze medals acquired) to evaluate the performance of the participating countries. The data used to test the model related to the performance of countries in Athens Olympics (2004). The results of implementing this model showed that out of 73 countries participating in Athens Olympic Games which had achieved at least one medal, nine countries achieved maximum efficiency using this model.}, keywords = {Data Envelopment Analysis,Olympic Games,Performance Evaluation}, title_fa = {بسط یک مدل ناپارامتریک برای ارزیابی عملکرد کشورهای شرکت کننده در بازی های المپیک}, abstract_fa = {روش مرسوم برای رتبه بندی کشورهای شرکت کننده در بازی های المپیک، براساس مجموع مدال های کسب شدة آنهاست، اما باید دانست که دستیابی به خروجی های رقابت (مدل های کسب شده) تنها در بستر بهره برداری از ورودی ها و با استفاده از فرایندهای مناسب امکان پذیر است و برای ارزیابی دقیق، منظم و هدفمند باید ورودی های کمتر نیز در کنار خروجی های بیشتر در مدل های ارزیابی وارد شوند. بنابراین در این پژوهش سعی بر آن است با استفاده از یکی از تکنیک های ناپارامتریک با عنوان تکنیک تحلیل پوششی داده ها، مدلی به منظور ارزیابی عملکرد کشورهای شرکت کننده در بازی های المپیک با هدف رفع این مشکل عملکرد ارائه شود. به این منظور با در نظر گرفتن شاخص های جمعیت کشور و تولید ناخالص داخلی به عنوان ورودی این مدل و با در نظر گرفتن شاخص های تعداد مدل های طلا، نقره و برنز کسب شده به عنوان خروجی این مدل ، عملکرد کشورها در بازی های المپیک سنجیده شد. داده های مورد استفاده به منظور تست مدل، مربوط به نتایج عملکرد کشورها در بازی های المپیک آتن (2004) است. نتایج حاصل از اجرای این مدل نشان می دهد که از 73 کشور شرکت کننده در بازی های المپیک آتن که حداقل یک مدل کسب کرده اند، 9 کشور حداکثر کارایی را از این مدل کسب کرده اند.}, keywords_fa = {ارزیابی عملکرد,بازی های المپیک,تحلیل پوششی داده ها.}, url = {https://jsm.ut.ac.ir/article_28911.html}, eprint = {https://jsm.ut.ac.ir/article_28911_a5772bb79b65e0796bd697d11d0d5e2a.pdf} }
